Payment methods and booking an appointment

We accept cash, debit and credit cards (including Amex) and our gift cards.

The Finnish Tax Administration’s guidance prohibits the receipt of welfare benefits as a form of payment by beauty professionals from 1 January 2024.

According to the Tax Administration’s guidance,“Only a trained podiatrist or podiatric therapist who is a healthcare professional and is registered with the Valvira can be a member of the Epassinetwork in the future.”

The Tax Administration’s guidance states that chiropody services cannot be treated as massage services, and chiropody services cannot be paid for with a massage benefit. In future, Epassi Wellbeing will only be able to pay for chiropody services as a health service if they are provided by a trained chiropodist or therapist. The service provider must be a healthcare professional registered with the Valvira. As cosmetologists are not health care professionals and are therefore not registered with Valvira, their right to accept Epassi payments has expired on 1.1.2024.

Our gift vouchers are valid for 6 months.

A 10% deposit fee is applied to our appointments to prevent abuse of our appointment system.

The prepayment fee is paid only once, at the time of the first appointment. There will be no further prepayment on subsequent appointments.

Can I get my deposit back if I cancel my booking?

Our booking system always has a 10% deposit for first-time customers, but unfortunately it is not technically possible to pay with a gift card. For this reason, first-time clients who pay by gift voucher should contact us by phone or email to book an appointment to avoid paying a deposit. In subsequent cases, there will no longer be a pre-payment, so after your first visit yoou will be able book your appointment online without any prepayment fees.

Yes you can. With your customer data and at least one visit to Fenix in our system, you can always book appointments without prepayment, regardless of the payment method.

Cancellation and customer service

Our customer service phone is answered from 8am to 5pm on weekdays.

You can always cancel your appointment from your customer account, as long as you have at least 24 hours to make your appointment. Instructions for changing and cancelling your booking can be found via this link.

Please send us an email as soon as possible at info@fenixkauneus.fi. Your appointment cannot be cancelled, but it can be rescheduled once due to a sudden illness. For further details, please refer to our Terms of Service.
