Traditional facial treatments

Traditional facials tend to focus on the human touch and natural and classic skincare methods that have been used in the beauty industry for a long time. These treatments are often perceived as particularly relaxing and soothing.

A mini facial is a great way to explore the world of facials or to brighten up a grey day.

This short treatment can easily be combined with permanent eyelash and eyebrow tints, so that the facial skin is also conveniently treated during the time the colours last.

The treatment lasts about 30 min

The only difference between a pampering facial and a full facial is the absence of a skin cleansing component.

The treatment is suitable for skin that does not need to be cleansed. It is always tailored to the skin type and skin requirements, making it suitable for everyone and all ages.

Our pampering facial treatment includes an initial skin cleansing, exfoliation, brow trimming, facial massage, mask, serums and creams.

A pampering treatment is a great treatment for a young person just getting to know facials, or for an older person whose skin no longer needs cleansing. An excellent gift voucher treatment!

The Full facial is our most popular facial, which includes everything you need to care for your skin.

Our full facial treatment includes an initial skin cleansing, exfoliation, skin cleansing (ultrasonic) OR diamond microdermabrasion, brow trimming, facial massage, mask, serums and creams.

The treatment lasts about 70 min

The luxury facial is a longer and more pampering version of the full facial.

It includes a small relaxing back massage, initial cleansing, exfoliation, skin cleansing, brow trimming, facial massage, eye contour treatment, mask, serums and creams.

The treatment lasts about 85 min

The Cinderella Facial is the most complete, pampering and relaxing of our traditional facials – a treatment where Cinderella becomes a Princess.

The Cinderella facial includes a relaxing back massage, initial cleansing, exfoliation, skin cleansing, permanent eyelash and eyebrow tinting, eyebrow trimming, facial massage, eye contour treatment, intensive serum according to skin needs, intensive mask and, if necessary, upper lip and chin sugaring.

The treatment lasts about 115 min

Often, the treatment includes a single machine treatment, which can be an ultrasonic skin cleansing if you want to focus on purifying the skin, or a diamond microdermabrasion if the focus is more on smoothing out fine lines on the surface of the skin.

Hydrafacial is a versatile and effective facial treatment that combines deep cleansing, moisturising and regenerating the skin into an effective treatment package. The treatment is performed using the unique, patented HydraFacial device.

The treatment can be tailored to different skin types and problems, such as acne, pigmentation spots or signs of ageing.

The treatment is gentle but effective, and there is usually no long recovery period. In most cases, noticeable results – such as brighter, smoother, healthier-looking skin – can be seen immediately after the first treatment.

A chemical peel is a skin care procedure that uses chemical substances to exfoliate and resurface the skin. This form of treatment helps to improve the appearance, texture and health of the skin.

There are superficial, medium and deep chemical peels. Chemical peels performed by cosmetologists are superficial peels, and therefore safe to perform. The flaking of the skin caused by superficial peels is usually moderate, so long healing times are not required.

Chemical peels are an effective way to improve the appearance and health of your skin, but it’s important to perform them in a professional environment and to follow aftercare instructions carefully.

Facial lymph massage is a special, very gentle massage technique that focuses on stimulating the lymph nodes and channels in the facial area.

Frequently asked questions

We encourage you to book an appointment for a facial, starting with our “full facial”.

Together with your cosmetologist, you can then choose the best treatment for you right from the start of your treatment, based on how your skin looks right now and what your cosmetologist recommends.

The longest treatment is not always the most effective. The most effective treatments often come in compact packages.

You can’t really recommend a facial to anyone over the phone or email, as the best treatment for your skin can only be chosen by an esthetician after seeing your skin.

However, as a general treatment, we can recommend a full facial, which includes an initial cleansing, exfoliation, actual skin cleansing (with an ultrasound machine) or diamond scrub, facial massage and mask. It is always a safe choice and it allows you to do anything and everything, including changing your treatment to anothar if your skin needs it.

But as we’ve said, the best way to find the right treatment for you is to be seen by a cosmetologist.

You can try to smooth, flatten and smoothen the scars, but no treatment can promise you a guaranteed scar removal.

Diamond microdermabrasion and chemical peels certainly have a beneficial effect on scars, but how radically they work can not be promised beforehand.

The earlier the scars are treated, the better are the chances of their healing being affected.

Pigmentation disorders, acne, milia and other impurities, wrinkles and fine lines are subject to exactly the same laws as scars.

We have a range of treatments that are highly effective, but the only way to see how well they work for your individual and unique skin is to try them out, often in a series of treatments.

We always remove milia, or bone spurs, during facial treatments, if it is possible to remove them.

If the milia is very small or very close to the eye, cosmetic removal is not possible.

If milia removal is important to you, please mention it to your cosmetologist at the beginning of your treatment.

As a basic rule, it is always a good idea to have a facial at the change of seasons, but at least in summer and winter or after summer and winter.

In addition, lifestyle factors (stress, diet and sleep), life events (weddings or other celebrations) and skin problems and special needs (impurities, acne, oiliness, dryness, signs of ageing) can affect the need for facials, which may mean more frequent and regular treatments.

When it comes to facials, remember that lines, wrinkles, blemishes, scars, hyper pigmentation and other skin imperfections and unevenness didn’t just appear overnight. That’s why it’s not something that can be eradicated overnight, if ever.

Lines and wrinkles are part of ageing. You can try to curb their appearance, but you can’t prevent them from forming. The key to preventing the signs of ageing is to prevent them from occurring in the first place. Regular skin care with good skin care products will help.

If you’ve made the choice to enjoy the sun’s rays on your face at all times without proper sun protection, your skin is sure to age quickly. The sun also easily causes various pigmentation disorders, such as hyperpigmentation, more popularly known as liver fluke. These events can no longer be corrected by a cosmetologist. The sun is the number one ageing agent of the skin and the effects of the sun on the skin can no longer be reversed by facial treatment.

A facial is not a magic trick that fades away the traces of a life lived.

The skin’s job is to secrete sebum, which lubricates the skin and keeps it water-repellent. The skin is constantly secreting sebum, and no matter how much you treat and clean it, there will always be more or less sebum in the pores. Sebum protects the skin, which in turn protects the whole body. The sebaceous glands also remove waste products from the skin.

There are hundreds of thousands of pores on the face. It is not possible to remove 100% of them in a single facial. No facial or skin cleansing treatment will remove all the sebum and blackheads from your skin.

So after a facial, it’s not a good idea to measure the success of the treatment by whether you can still see sebum or blackheads in the magnifying mirror. The answer is always: yes, you will see those in the mirror.

Facials do not stop the normal functioning of the skin in the name of skin cleansing.

The facial will always end with a soothing mask that is suitable for your skin type and takes into account your skin condition, which will reduce any redness or other undesirable signs on your facial skin. Often, only a momentary healthy blush remains on the face after a facial, indicating that the skin has been cleansed and cared for.

You can be allergic to everything.

Allergising or sensitising chemicals can include skin cosmetics (detergents, creams, serums), laundry detergents, hair cosmetics (washing, conditioning and styling products), oral hygiene products, make-up, perfumes, etc.

If you are sensitised to one substance, you are sensitised to a thousand other products. The allergen is always an ingredient in the product, not the product itself. Therefore, an allergic reaction is caused by any product containing the allergenic raw material.

Allergies and sensitivities are not visible and allergic reactions cannot be predicted and therefore unfortunately cannot be prevented from happening.

Allergy is the body’s inappropriate immunological or rejection reaction against substances in the environment. A hair and beauty professional cannot be held responsible for this.

All chemicals carry a risk of allergic reaction, and as a customer you are consciously taking this risk. For the reasons set out above, an allergic reaction is not grounds for a complaint or cancellation.
