HydraFacial is a device treatment that uses powerful vacuum suction to suck up the build-up of skin oils, skin secretions, dirt, harmful microbes and excess treatment fluids into a separate waste container. A range of treatment heads and cartridges can be used to enhance the cleansing and moisturising basic treatment.

The treatment can be combined with, for example, GlySal acid peel or DermaBuilder anti-age peptide solution, which smoothes the lines like botulin, but painlessly and without injections.

After the treatment, the skin feels clean, soft and hydrated.

HydraFacial’s patented HydroPeel treatment head moisturises, softens and purifies the skin.

The cleansing process uses a serum that softens sebum and gently deep cleanses the skin. The serum contains glucosamine and lactic acid as exfoliating ingredients and yeast extract and seaweed extract as skin conditioning ingredients.

The HydroPeel tips’ excellent exfoliation performance is based on the patented, spiral-shaped tip design, which exfoliates the skin effectively but painlessly with each stroke through the spiral’s multiple grooves.

After cleansing and exfoliation, we move on to the whirl cleansing phase of the pores, where blackheads and whiteheads are cleared without the discomfort of a manual skin cleansing. The active solution used in this phase is a serum containing salicylic acid developed for this phase of the facial. Salicylic acid deeply cleanses the skin while sloughing off dead, dry skin cells.

Once the cleansing, exfoliation and pore vortex cleansing steps are complete, the next step is the absorption of active ingredients.

The impregnation phase involves the introduction of an antioxidant serum, a highly moisturising solution. The Antiox-serum is rich in antioxidants and hyaluronic acid.

Thanks to the water vortex created by the HydroPeel tip and the small molecular size of the active ingredients, they are absorbed very effectively deep into the skin.

HydraFacial is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive or dry skin.

The treatment is suitable for many skin problems, such as impurities, signs of ageing or hyperpigmentation, but it is equally suitable for non-problematic skin that needs a cleansing and brightening treatment.

HydraFacial is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, nor for clients who have taken acne medication in the last year.

It is also not recommended for burned skin or for patients with eczema and psoriasis.

The basic moisturising and cleansing treatment takes about 25 minutes. If additional options are used, the treatment lasts about 5-20 minutes longer, depending on the type of treatment.

The basic HydraFacial treatment is performed on the skin of the face. For an additional fee, the treatment is also available for the neck area. Additional treatments can also be booked online.

The secret of HydraFacial lies in its patented, big HydroPeel treatment heads, whichs’ spiral shape allows the effective cleansing and exfoliation, pore draining and absorption of active ingredients.

The spiral shape creates a water vortex of treatment concentrates on the skin, which, together with the abrasive edges of the spirals, effectively but painlessly exfoliates the skin.

The same water vortex is used to deliver the active ingredients to the skin efficiently and in such a way that they remain on the skin for several days after the treatment, further improving treatment results.

The treatment feels pleasant and usually causes no pain or discomfort. Even the traditional “squeezing” of the pores is painless with HydraFacial thanks to its Vortex water vortex cleaning.

The exfoliation is effective but safe thanks to the solutions, spiral treatment head and water wheel, and only ingredients that have been proven safe are used in the treatment.

The treatment is also hygienic as the HydroPeel treatment tips are disposable and are replaced after each client.

After the treatment, you can go back to your everyday life immediately.

The results are immediate, but as the active ingredients remain on the skin for several days, the results are also best seen after several days.

As the treatment also uses fruit acids, after the treatment you should avoid direct sunlight and use a sunscreen of at least SPF30.

The best results are achieved through regular HydraFacial treatments and active use of home facial products suitable for your skin type.

Although HydraFacial is not strictly a chemical peel, the treatment uses chemical exfoliants, AHA and BHA acids.

Usually the skin does not react to the acid levels of HydraFacial, but it is possible that in extremely rare cases, very sensitive skin may be sensitive to touch, redden, turn brownish, sting/prickle/peel/itch, flake heavily or be swollen after the treatment. Treatment products may also sting.

However, these symptoms are transient and there is no need to worry about them. Careful moisturising of the skin will make the symptoms disappear within a few days.
